Palace Tarp

The Palace Tarp: Maximum Coverage, Minimal Weight

The Dyneema palace tarp is our largest rain fly, built to deliver maximum coverage at a remarkably low weight. It uses Dyneema Composite Fabric, which sheds water and holds steady weight even when soaked. As a result, it keeps you dry through the worst storms without weighing down your pack. With full doors and an extra-wide footprint, this Dyneema palace tarp shelters hammock and ground campers alike. When the weather turns serious, it is the shelter you want overhead.

Full Protection in Any Storm

Designed for rough conditions, the Dyneema palace tarp wraps you in complete coverage. Its full doors close off driving wind, rain, and blowing snow at both ends. Meanwhile, the wide panels extend well past your hammock or sleeping pad. So you stay dry and protected even in a sustained downpour.

Zero-Stretch Dyneema Composite Fabric

At the core of the Dyneema palace tarp is Dyneema Composite Fabric, a laminate prized for strength and low weight. Unlike nylon, it barely absorbs water, so it will not sag overnight. The taped ridgeline also removes any need for seam sealing. In addition, the fabric resists UV and abrasion for seasons of hard use. For storage between trips, pack it into a mesh storage sleeve .

Full Doors and Wide Coverage

Two ridgeline tie-outs, ten perimeter points, and four panel pull-outs give you flexible, dialed-in pitches. The doors can seal shut for warmth or tie back for an open view.
