By using trail.deals you agree to these terms. They are short because the site is simple: it shows you prices it has seen at other stores and links you to them.
What the site is
trail.deals is an information service. We read retailers' and brands' public pages, record the prices they show, and present the ones that look like deals, along with price history and curated kits. We do not sell anything. We do not hold inventory. Every purchase happens on the retailer's site under the retailer's terms, prices, shipping and return policies.
Prices and availability
A price on this site is the price a retailer displayed when we last checked, and the card says when that was. Retailers change prices and stock without notice, and a page can be wrong between checks. Verify the price on the retailer's page before you buy. We are not responsible for differences between what we show and what the retailer charges, for items that are out of stock, or for retailer errors.
Affiliate links
Some links to retailers are affiliate links and may earn us a commission at no cost to you. This never changes the price you pay and never changes which deals we show or how they are ranked. The full policy is on the affiliate disclosure page.
Subscriptions are double opt-in and every message has an unsubscribe link. Do not sign up addresses that are not yours.
Acceptable use
- Do not scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site beyond what a normal browser does; our data comes from public pages and we extend the same courtesy we ask for, but automated copying of the whole catalog is not permitted.
- Do not attempt to access admin areas, interfere with the service, or submit abusive content through the contact form.
Content and trademarks
The guides, kit descriptions and other original text are ours. Product names, brand names and product images belong to their owners and are shown to identify the products being priced. If you own content shown here and want it removed, use the contact page.
No warranty, limited liability
The site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, trail.deals and its owner are not liable for any loss arising from use of the site or from purchases made through links on it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top is the version in force. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
